Us:
In 1992, Karen Lane of Elfheim Cattery met Curt Gabbard, of Cincicatti
Cattery, and an instant friendship formed. We decided to co-own a wonderful
Birman boy and show him together, this was GC.RW. Cincicatti Pooh Bear of
Elfheim.

History:
The Birman
has also been called "The Sacred Cat of Burma", much of their history is
shrouded in mystery. The Birman was recognized as a separate breed in 1925 by
the French Cat Registry.

Adoption:
Our
pet kittens get the same care and live the same privileged life as our show
kittens. We keep the pet kittens until they are fourteen to sixteen weeks old.
When they leave us they will have been "vet checked" at least three times.
